04Who makes FotoPal
Made in Adelaide by a photographer still on the tools
FotoPal began as the software Jeff Richardson built to run his own studio, JR Photo and Video, which has photographed real estate in Adelaide and rural South Australia since 2010. FotoPal Real Estate is that software, now offered to other studios.
The rest of the suite comes from the same place: the work a studio does on a shoot day, and the evenings it loses afterwards. Every FotoPal product is designed and supported from Adelaide.

What is FotoPal?
FotoPal is a suite of software products for professional photography studios, made by JR Photo and Video Pty Ltd in Adelaide, South Australia. FotoPal Real Estate is available now for real estate photographers and their agents. FotoPal Sports, FotoPal Schools, FotoPal Lab and FotoPal Templates are built on a shared platform for club, school and print work.
Which FotoPal product do I need?
Choose by the work you shoot. Real estate photographers and their agents use FotoPal Real Estate. Studios that photograph sports clubs use FotoPal Sports, and studios that photograph schools use FotoPal Schools, which runs on the same platform. Labs and studios that print use FotoPal Lab, and studios that design composites and cards use FotoPal Templates.
Can I buy every FotoPal product today?
Not yet. FotoPal Real Estate is on sale now, with a free plan and a free trial of the paid features. FotoPal Sports, FotoPal Schools, FotoPal Lab and FotoPal Templates are not on sale yet. Register interest on each product’s page and we will contact you before it opens to studios.
Is there one FotoPal login for every product?
Not today. Each product has its own sign-in at its own address: FotoPal Real Estate at app.fotopal.ai, FotoPal Sports and FotoPal Schools at sports.fotopal.ai, FotoPal Lab at lab.fotopal.ai and FotoPal Templates at templates.fotopal.ai. The Sign in page on this site sends you to the right one. A single FotoPal sign-in for business users is planned.
Do parents need a FotoPal account to see their photos?
No. Parents never sign in to FotoPal itself. They see their photos in their studio’s own gallery, opened from the link the studio sends, and they confirm their email address with a one-time code before they buy. The gallery carries the studio’s name and branding, because the studio is the business parents are buying from.
