There are two kinds of listing film. Real video is filmed at the property by the photographer, with no AI. An AI listing film is made by FotoPal from the listing photos, and comes in three tiers: Essential (the photos in motion), Pro (adds the agent on camera and staging in motion) and Signature (adds real footage, lifestyle scenes and a 9:16 reel).

FotoPal charges your studio per use, inc. GST in Australia, on top of your plan. You sell the films to your agents at your own prices, from your own store. AI Video Plus is now in pilot — taking studios.

Your cost is FotoPal’s per-use prices for everything in the film at that length, before GST: the film, an AI camera move on every photo, and each add-on in it. It is the most that film costs: a home that needs no staging, or moves already made, costs less. Recommended retail is JR Photo and Video’s own price list to its agents, before GST: every studio sets its own prices.

For agents and agencies
You book a film from your photography studio, the same way you book photos. JR Photo and Video, the studio that built FotoPal, is the pilot studio, and other studios are joining.
JR Photo and Video is the pilot studio. Other studios are joining: ask your own photographer whether they offer FotoPal films.
From the RAW brackets to the finished listing photo, then the fixes and changes agents ask for.
AI real estate photo editing in FotoPal turns a photographer’s RAW bracketed exposures into finished, delivery-ready listing photos. Pal, FotoPal’s own AI editor, groups the brackets, merges the exposures, pulls the window views, straightens the verticals and returns each photo for the photographer to approve before anything is delivered.
An AI photo edit is a one-click fix or a change described in plain words, made to a finished listing photo. FotoPal has a button each for the fixes photographers make on every job, and a free-text “photo change” for anything else an agent asks for.
Declutter, or item removal, clears things that should not be in a listing photo: bins, cords, clutter, cars, pets and pet bowls, and the photographer and tripod in a mirror. It is an AI photo edit, priced and labelled like one.
Sky replacement swaps a grey or blown-out sky in an exterior listing photo for a blue or dusk sky. FotoPal treats a replaced sky as an alteration, because a view is part of how a property appears.
Day to dusk, also called virtual twilight, turns a daytime exterior photo into a twilight one: a dusk sky, the house lights on, the windows warm. It gives a listing a twilight hero shot without a second visit at sunset.

Virtual staging furnishes an empty room in a listing photo with AI. FotoPal stages a room across every angle that was shot, in one style, and checks each render against the original photo on the floors, walls, windows and fixtures, which must stay as they were photographed.
A 3D floor plan render is a furnished 3D dollhouse view of the property, made by FotoPal from the 2D floor plan. The studio orders the plan from the booking through its own floor-plan account, and FotoPal renders the 3D view to go with it.
AI listing copy is a headline and a property description for the ad, written by FotoPal from the listing photos and details. It is a draft for the agent to check and edit before it is published.

An AI listing video in FotoPal is a film made from the listing’s own photos: AI camera moves through each room, cut to music, with the address and the agent’s details. It is made in landscape for the portals and YouTube, and in vertical 9:16 for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok reels.

The AI phone line answers a studio’s calls: agents ring to book a shoot, and it quotes from the studio’s live price list and checks real availability before it books. The studio’s own team can ring it to run the day. It is part of Studio Pro Plus, with a CRM and SMS and email to agents and vendors.

Listing Film is FotoPal’s AI Video Plus film: one listing video made from the photos, with add-ons chosen per property — staging in motion, lifestyle scenes, dusk in motion and the agent as an AI presenter. Films made from photos are in pilot now; films cut from video footage, or from photos and footage together, are being built for the pilot.
Staging in motion is virtual staging that moves: in the film, furniture slides into place in an empty room while the camera holds still. Every frame is locked to the real photograph, so only the furniture comes from the AI and the room, its windows and its views stay as photographed.
A lifestyle scene is a short AI shot of the home being lived in: a couple cooking in the kitchen, a family lunch at the table, kids in the backyard, friends outside at golden hour. The people are AI-generated, never real people, small in the frame with their faces turned away.
Dusk in motion is day to dusk in the film: the front of the house relights from day to twilight on screen, the sky deepening and the windows warming on. Where the studio has already made a twilight photo of the front, the shot blends from the real photo to it.
The AI presenter puts the listing agent on camera in their own film: an avatar of the agent, made from their own likeness, opens the film, talks the viewer through the home and closes with a call to action. It is made only with the agent’s own consent, given by the agent signed in as themselves.
Honest AI
Walls, floors, windows, fixtures and the layout stay as they were photographed. Virtual staging is checked against the original photo, and every AI shot in a film is locked to the real photograph, so only furniture, people and props come from the AI; window and door views are protected.
Staging, decluttering, a new sky, a greener lawn and day to dusk are alterations, and FotoPal records which photos carry one. The studio can label each altered photo “Virtually staged” or “Digitally altered”, with a link to the original — built for rules such as California’s AB 723 and MLS disclosure rules in the US.
Every AI shot in an AI Video Plus film is labelled in the shot, whatever the studio’s photo setting: “Virtually staged”, “AI-generated lifestyle scene”, “Digitally altered: day to dusk”. A shot that falls back to the real photograph loses its label with its AI clip.
No avatar or voice is made for an agent until the agent, signed in as themselves, has given consent; a studio filming someone is not that person agreeing. Consent can be withdrawn. The agent sees the script before the film is made, and every presenter film says “This video uses an AI presenter.”
Lifestyle scenes use AI-generated people only, never photographs of real people, kept small in the frame with their faces turned away.
Listing copy and presenter scripts are written from the listing’s facts and photos, and a person reviews them before they are published.
Prices are what the studio pays FotoPal, on top of its plan: in Australian dollars inc. GST, New Zealand dollars with no GST charged, and US dollars before sales tax. Agents pay their studio, at the studio’s own prices.

Yes. FotoPal records every photo whose appearance was changed, such as staging, item removal, a new sky or day to dusk, and the studio can label it “Virtually staged” or “Digitally altered” with a link to the original. Routine enhancement such as exposure and straightening is not an alteration. AI shots in films are always labelled.
No. The AI edits photos, not buildings: walls, floors, windows, fixtures and layout stay as photographed. Virtual staging is checked against the original photo, and AI film shots are locked to the real photograph so only furniture, people and props come from the AI. In the AI Video Plus pilot, yes, with the agent’s own consent. The agent’s avatar, made from their own likeness, opens and closes the film and talks viewers through the home, with the agency’s brand intro, a lower third and an end slide. The agent sees the script first, and every presenter film says “This video uses an AI presenter.”
Real video is filmed at the property by the photographer, and nothing in it is made by AI. An AI listing film is made by FotoPal from the listing photos: AI camera moves through each room, cut to music. The higher tiers add the agent as an AI presenter, rooms staged in motion and lifestyle scenes, and every AI shot is labelled in the shot.
