FotoPal vs HDPhotoHub: an HDPhotoHub alternative with editing and Xero built in

FotoPal is an HDPhotoHub alternative for studios that would rather pay a flat subscription in Australian, New Zealand or US dollars than a fee on every delivery, and that want AI editing and Xero invoicing inside the same system as booking and delivery.

HDPhotoHub charges per delivery (Basic $5, Full $10 in its USD column, with AUD and NZD price lists offered), schedules around drive times, delivers through login-free branded pages and takes payment through Stripe and Square; it does not list Xero or describe photo editing.

Facts checked against each vendor’s own site (sources below). FotoPal’s column is read from its price list and facts page.

Questions

Asked before choosing

Does HDPhotoHub charge a monthly fee?

Its pricing page says there are no monthly subscriptions: you pay once per delivery, Basic Delivery or Full Delivery, with the price list shown in USD and selectable in CAD, AUD and NZD, and a monthly invoice if you do not bill clients through it. FotoPal is the reverse: a flat monthly plan in AUD including GST, NZD with no GST charged, or USD before tax, with no delivery fee and only the AI extras metered.

Does HDPhotoHub schedule around drive times like FotoPal?

Yes, by its own description: its Smart Scheduling weighs drive times, shoot durations and traffic patterns. FotoPal does the same with drive time and traffic between jobs, a service area you set, a dispatch board and route map, and, on Studio Pro and above, an auto-schedule that proposes the day for you to approve. Both sync Google Calendar.

Which one edits the photos?

FotoPal does, with Pal: RAW brackets grouped and merged, windows pulled, verticals straightened, ten one-click fixes, day to dusk, virtual staging and 3D floor plan renders, with 100 AI-edited photos a month included on Studio. HDPhotoHub’s site describes clients editing flyers and social tiles in its marketing kit; it does not describe photo enhancement, so editing stays with you or your editor.

Does either integrate with Xero?

FotoPal does on every plan: the invoice is written from the booking with per-line GST or sales tax and Xero account codes, posted to Xero as awaiting payment, and marked paid in FotoPal when it is reconciled. HDPhotoHub lists QuickBooks, Stripe, Square, Google Drive, Dropbox and Google Calendar among its integrations; Xero is not mentioned on its site.
